Summer Festivals

A cornerstone of Elizabeth’s thriving community is the commitment to celebrating all of the cultures that join together to form our city. Latin, Colombian, and Portuguese communities contribute to the wide range of diverse restaurants as well as festivals available in Elizabeth.

In June, we have one of the largest Portuguese parades on the East Coast. Join us as we demonstrate the city’s Portuguese culture and pride!

Come July, we proudly honor our Colombian citizens with the largest Colombian Day Festival in the country. Over 150,000 people join together to experience Colombian food and dance, share in the distinctive culture, and entertain each other.

In August, Elizabeth’s streets will be packed with classic and rare cars and motorcycles during the Car and Bike Show. Families who come to appreciate the craftsmanship of these vehicles also have the chance to dive into a range of great foods and activities.
