ELIZABETH, NJ - “The Snowman Project” is enjoyed by many as they walk through Union Square Plaza on Elizabeth Avenue, but many do not know where they came from, who created them. Here is what you don’t know about the amazing project!

David Strochak, Executive Director for The Elizabeth Avenue Partnership (EAP) spoke to Ms. Suzanne Fenelli and her 4th Grade Class at Winfield Scott School #2, about the role a Special Improvement District plays in the City of Elizabeth. The children, in turn, explained how they decorated their Snow-Woman using arts and crafts including two types of pasta, silk flowers, gold lipstick tops, a cloth hat, pines cones, and a snowflake.
