Sprawling 204 acres, this park is located in Elizabeth, Linden, and Roselle, brings together 3 wonderful towns of Union County! The park was designed by the noted landscape architect Frederick Olmstead—the designer of New York’s Central Park.
Housing many amenities— including a bicycle path, boating (row boats and pedal boats rented on an hourly basis), skating center, tennis courts, running track, winding trails, indoor ice skating rink, fitness course, football, soccer and baseball fields, kids’ playgrounds and a water spray for children in the summer - the park is known for its rich greenery! Towering trees, cherry blossoms that sprout in the spring, azaleas, tulips and magnolias provide a scenic backdrop.
The park’s biggest attraction is Warinanco Indoor Ice Skating Center, which is typically open from October to March each year.
